For the first time the world renowned Security BSides conference is coming to Dundee.  The conference is scheduled to take place on the 6th August 2022, at Verdant Works, Dundee.

BSides Dundee, will be a yearly event, which will be designed to  expand security discussions within the IT community.  It will therefore be a place where security professionals, academics, hackers, and cyber security enthusiasts can share ideas. 

As a global organisation BSides agenda is to create an environment where sponsors and participants work together, to improve the cyber security ecosystem.  BSides security conferences have, therefore been described as a place where cutting edge security conversations take place.

Dr Beverley MacKenzie, the chair of the BSides Dundee committee has said, “The key catalyst behind the decision to host a BSides security conference in Dundee, is the cities growing international reputation as a technology hub of excellence”.
